Arihanta Institute is pleased to announce the official launch of the Center for the Study of Jain Yoga (CSJY), an innovative online platform dedicated to advancing research and education in the tradition of Jain yoga and meditation. Building on the success of the global conference Yoga in Jainism, held in April 2024, CSJY seeks to illuminate Jain yoga’s unique contributions within the broader field of Yoga Studies.
CSJY serves as a pioneering resource for both scholars and the public, featuring graduate-level education, self-study courses, and online events and conferences that explore the philosophical, historical, and cultural dimensions of Jain yoga.
The center will also advance Jain yoga scholarship, hosting leading researchers who employ interdisciplinary approaches to examine Jain yoga texts, trace its historical evolution, and analyze modern ideologies and practices within Jain communities.
We invite scholars, students, and all curious minds to join in this journey of discovery. Whether you're deepening your academic expertise or beginning to explore Jain yoga, CSJY provides a welcoming space where tradition and inquiry meet.
